The prolonged US-Iran conflict has triggered significant turbulence in the global energy market, directly driving up crude oil prices to a high level. As a vital derivative of petroleum, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) has seen a continuous and sharp price surge, closely following the upward trend of oil prices, which has brought enormous cost pressure to our china inflatable towable tube factory.

PVC is the core raw material for our products, accounting for a large proportion of the total production cost, such as inflatable towable tube, waterpark tube, pool float, rive tube, banana boat, flyfish, kayak and so on. Ethylene, a key feedstock for PVC production, is derived from petroleum cracking, so the soaring oil prices have directly pushed up the production cost of PVC globally. According to recent market data, PVC prices have risen significantly since the conflict escalated, with no sign of stabilization amid the ongoing geopolitical tensions.

For our inflatable waterpark tube factory, the continuous rise in PVC prices has directly increased the cost of raw material procurement, squeezing profit margins. We have to face the dilemma of either absorbing the cost increase to maintain product competitiveness or adjusting product prices, which may affect market demand. The current situation reminds us of the vulnerability of the industrial chain to geopolitical conflicts, and we are actively exploring measures to mitigate the impact, such as optimizing procurement channels and improving production efficiency.
